Aamir Khan is known as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ of Bollywood, with his meticulous performance in films. However, once Aamir and his family feud came under scrutiny when his brother, Faissal Khan, accused the actor of keeping him confined, allegedly due to mental health issues. But now, Faissal Khan recently claimed that Aamir has always been kind to him. The actor had also shared earlier that he tried everything in his capacity to help his brother’s acting career.

Aamir Khan had revealed that he had tried to help Faissal’s acting career but failed

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Faissal Khan recently discussed the period in his life when he faced a lack of work opportunities after leaving home due to family issues. However, it was his brother, Aamir, who made some calls to help Faissal get a job. The latter also stated that his brother, Aamir, is kind and would never do him wrong. Amid this, in an earlier chat of Aamir Khan with Raj Shamani, the actor shared everything he did to help his brother’s failing acting career.

In the chat, Aamir opened up about being more concerned about his children, Junaid, Ira and Azad’s success and failure than his own. However, despite this concern, the actor said that he would never be able to cast family members in roles that they won’t fit. Aamir stated that this is why he won’t interfere with Junaid’s career. However, there was a time when he tried to help his younger brother, Faissal a lot when he was struggling with getting success in the film industry. Aamir shared:

“I tried to help Faissal a lot when he started his career as an actor. Unfortunately, his first film, Madhosh, didn’t work. I was very worried, and I tried very hard to support his career. I did a film with him called Mela. I moved heaven and earth to help him, but I realised that this is the one field where nobody can help you. All I can do is pray to God that he takes my success and gives it all to him. I couldn’t do a thing beyond that. I tried and failed. Your success in this field depends entirely on your destiny and the hard work you put in.”

    More about Faissal Khan

Given the family feud and rumours of mental illness surrounding him, Faissal Khan did not get to work on a lot of projects. The actor has been seen in very few projects. Faissal appeared in a minor and uncredited role in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster debut film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Then he marked his own debut with the 1994 film, Madhosh. Then Aamir and Faissal both appeared in the 2000 film, Mela, which failed to make a mark in the box-office, however the brothers’ pairing was appreciated in the movie. Faissal last appeared in the Kannada movie, Oppanda in 2022.
