The makers of the popular quiz show dropped the much-awaited promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 on their Instagram handle on August 11, 2025. The promo features a double role of the host, Amitabh Bachchan. One, who is taking the legacy of the show forward and the other, who wants it to be a little cooler as the show is watched by everyone ranging from Gen X to Gen Z. The caption of the post was:

Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to premiere from August 11, 2025, only on Sony Entertainment Television. The show will air every week from Monday to Friday at 9pm, which will give the audience a dose of fun, emotional moments, knowledge and many life-changing jackpots. For some viewers, the show can also be nostalgic. Apart from television, the quiz show will be available on the streaming platform, Sony LIV, letting viewers watch it anytime and from anywhere.
