John Abraham talks about his scandal-free marriage with Priya
John Abraham recently sat for an interview with India Today, wherein he talked about his marriage. The actor stated that he never had any agent or publicist, and the decision was made consciously because his personal life has nothing to do with his movies. The actor stated that there has been no one who manufactured stories for him, and thus, the minute his movie gets over, he goes out of the news, and goes back to his personal shell. John said that he doesn’t even speak much unless he really needs to discuss the same topic. In John Abraham’s words:
“That is a very conscious decision, because my films have nothing to do with my personal life. In all these years, I have never had a publicist or an agent. I don’t have someone who is manufacturing stuff for me out there. So the minute my films are over, I become not newsworthy and I go into my shell and I come out to speak only when I have something relevant to say.”
John Abraham added that whenever he doesn’t have any films to do, he mostly lives a personal life. He spends a lot of time at his football academy in Shillong and also writes scripts in his spare time. John’s wife, Priya, lives a private life, which aligns with the actor’s low-key lifestyle.
John further added that he never went to parties, even before his marriage. The actor also shared that he doesn’t like loud music and alcohol. He also stated that he has an issue with alcohol because of his father. John mentioned that he gets to bed very early and wakes up between 4 and 4:30 am. He reads a lot, mostly about world news. John Abraham could be quoted as saying:
“I never went to parties even before I got married. I have always chosen to stay out because the music is too loud and I don’t drink alcohol. I have a problem with alcohol because my father loves his single malt. Also, I sleep very early and I wake up at 4-4:30 am. I read as much as I can after waking up and I devour world news.”
John Abraham revealed that Priya brought maturity to his life
In June 2024, John and Priya marked their 10th year of marital bliss. To celebrate the same, John shared some photos to wish his wife. In an interview with Pinkvilla, John said that he thinks that he’s pretty flawed and not even the perfect partner. John also shared that his wife, Priya brings a lot of maturity to their marital life. The actor stated that his wife has a lot of stability and sanity and is a good person. John revealed that his wife once mentioned she’s not interested in hogging the limelight and would rather stay back to do some real work.
