Speaking at a public event in Mumbai, the actor revealed: “IPL offer hua tha us waqt, liya nahi…”

When pressed on whether he harbors any regrets over the decision, Salman was quick to quash the notion. In his signature swagger, he responded, “Aisa nahi hai ki pachta rahe hai hum. Khush hi hai hum.” He added humorously that he now feels “IPL ke liye too old ho gaye hum,” a lighthearted way of closing the chapter on what might have been.

Salman’s disclosure sheds new light on the league’s early years. While stars like Shah Rukh Khan (co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders) and Preity Zinta (co-owner of Punjab Kings) chose to invest, Salman opted out, citing personal reasons—even though the offer came his way.

On the professional front, Salman has been busy filming the action drama Battle of Galwan—inspired by the real-life 2020 India-China clash in Ladakh. The project, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, involves rigorous physical preparation and challenging shoots in high-altitude and cold-water conditions. Meanwhile, he’s also preparing to return as host for Bigg Boss 19.

In short, Salman Khan remains content and focused on his cinematic ventures—no IPL regrets, only ambition ahead.
