Hansika recently celebrated her birthday on August 9, 2025, but didn’t post any pictures from the celebrations. Rather, she dropped a cryptic note about the ‘lessons’ she didn’t expect. Taking to her IG stories, Hansika shared a picture with a note that can be read as:
“Feeling humbled and full of gratitude. Wrapped in love, topped with cake, and thankful for every little moment. This year brought lessons I didn’t ask for… and strength I didn’t know I had. Heart’s full. Phone’s full. Soul’s at peace. Thank you for the birthday magic.”
Hansika Motwani’s divorce rumours
Hansika and Sohael Khaturiya tied the knot in December 2022 in a grand ceremony. Their wedding was also featured in a reality TV series called Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama. Sources claimed that Hansika and Sohael have been living apart, and reports claimed that there were persistent issues between the couple.
A source close to the couple stated that the couple, who married in 2022, initially moved in with his parents. However, adjusting to a big family has become an issue, prompting them to move into a condo in the same building. But despite all this, things were getting difficult. However, when the news portals tried to reach out to her, they were met with silence.

After a few days of the speculations, Sohael made his social media handle private, which caught the attention. Following this, Hansika deleted her wedding photos with him, which more or less confirmed that everything was not well between the couple.

In an episode of her show, Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama, she revealed that people simply turned her into a villain just because she’s a public figure. Hansika could be quoted as saying:
“Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain. This was a price I pay for being a celebrity.”
