The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the results for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) June 2025 Intermediate and Final examinations.

In the Final level, Hans Jain secured the first rank, while Sujal Saraf emerged as the top performer in the Intermediate level. The results are now available on the official ICMAI results portal, where candidates can check their scores using their 17-digit registration number.

A total of 5,491 candidates successfully cleared the Intermediate course this session, and 2,167 candidates earned the CMA Final certification.

PASS PERCENTAGE FOR INTERMEDIATE EXAM

In the Intermediate Examination (Syllabus 2022) Group I, 26,974 candidates appeared, with 2,864 passing, marking a pass percentage of 10.62 per cent.

Group II saw 15,333 candidates, with 4,664 passing, leading to a 30.42 per cent pass rate.

Among those who attempted both groups, 9,998 candidates passed in either group, with 864 clearing at least one, an 8.64 per cent success rate, while 1,375 candidates cleared both groups, registering a 13.75 per cent pass rate.

PASS PERCENTAGE FOR FINAL EXAM

In the Final Examination (Syllabus 2022) Group III, 10,503 candidates appeared, and 1,701 passed, recording a 16.20 per cent pass rate.

Group IV had 4,458 candidates, of which 1,108 passed, resulting in a 24.85 per cent pass rate.

Among those who attempted both Group III and Group IV, 3,493 candidates appeared, with 478 passing in either group, a 13.68 per cent pass rate. Additionally, 651 candidates cleared both groups, achieving an 18.64 per cent success rate.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA AND EXEMPTIONS

To qualify, candidates must secure a minimum of 40 per cent in each paper and an overall aggregate of 50 per cent in all non-exempted papers.

If a candidate scores 60 per cent or more in any paper but does not clear the group, they will be exempt from retaking that paper in the next attempt, with the exempted paper counted as 50 per cent when calculating aggregates.

CMA FOUNDATION RESULT DECLARED EARLIER

The CMA Foundation results for June 2025 were declared on July 8.

Riya Poddar from Howrah secured the first position in the merit list.

The CMA programme is conducted twice a year, in June and December. Last year’s Intermediate pass rates were 16.10 per cent for Group I and 28.69 per cent for Group II, with 9.89 per cent clearing one group and 17.77 per cent passing both.
